LSH
(Laparoscopic Supracervical Hysterectomy)
LSH is one of our newest minimally invasive hysterectomy techniques. It uses a laparoscope and several small abdominal incisions through which instruments are used to separate the uterus from the cervix and remove it through one of the small abdominal incisions. LSH does not require a large abdominal incision and therefore involves less post-operative pain, scarring and recovery time. Most women will require only an overnight hospital stay and are back to normal activities in less than 2 weeks.
